Our teachers are highly qualified and experienced professionals who are passionate about working with children. They undergo regular training to keep up-to-date with the latest teaching methods and practises, and are dedicated to providing the best possible care and education for each child.

We believe that a healthy diet is essential for a child's development, which is why we provide nutritious morning and afternoon snacks that are both delicious and balanced. Our menu is designed to meet the dietary needs of children of all ages.

Inspectors were particularly impressed by children’s behaviour and attitudes. The report states that children at Amelia’s House are “extremely considerate of the feelings of other people” and that “the culture of harmony and respect is deeply embedded in the setting”

The childminder was praised for role-modelling good manners and explicitly teaching empathy, with Ofsted noting that children “learn how to be kind to each other and themselves” and develop a strong sense of responsibility for their behaviour.

Amelia’s House was also commended for its strong focus on children’s emotional and physical wellbeing. Inspectors highlighted the childminder’s “unwavering commitment to children’s wellbeing and welfare”, including close partnership with families to adapt routines such as sleep schedules and nutrition to meet individual needs

The report adds that children “develop lifelong habits and a strong foundation for their emotional and physical health”while in the care of the setting

Ofsted found that children at Amelia’s House are confident, resilient and well prepared for their next stage of education. The report states that children “relish challenge”, show “high levels of self-esteem” and “thrive in their learning, even in the face of new challenges”

Inspectors also praised the warm relationships within the setting, noting that children “confidently go to the childminder for reassurance and emotional support” and that children of all ages “settle well” and feel emotionally secure

All visits are arranged after school hours and can be arranged at a time that works for you. We also offer weekend visit to give opportunities to all family members to come for a visit. We understand this childcare and equation is a very important decision therefore we would like to enable all those who want to visit to come and see the setting and meet us.
